5 out of 5 stars Good little diffuser   May 2, 2010
S. L. Monser (Oneonta, NY)
I love these diffusers. The first ones I bought 4-5 years ago still work well. Just a couple of drops of therapeutic grade Essentials Oils put in the water and the whole room smells wonderful.(Just a note that you want to use a quality, therapeutic grade oil like Young Living brand, or you run the risk of heightening allergic responses.)

The only complaint is that, in the past year, I've received a couple that did not work properly. While it's a pain to get the product back from a customer and return it, the company has been very good about switching the product out. And the replacement always works.

I'd say it's still worth the effort of buying these. They're the best, easiest and most economical diffuser on the market.

1 out of 5 stars a piece of junk   January 27, 2010

Distilled water? Check. Essential oil? Check. Plugged in? Check. Turned on? Check...but the 2nd day this little piece of plastic wasn't working. It doesn't go on when you WANT it on, at least not with any consistency. It runs for maybe an hour to two at most, putting a fine mist into the air. But don't expect it to do that the 2nd night you turn it on. Don't waste your hard earned dollars.

1 out of 5 stars Not much for the money   January 21, 2010

Spa Mist Color Changing Fountain Mister
I received my Spa Mist Color changing fountain mister as promised. It was quite cheezy looking. I read the directions, plugged it in and the mist began to come out and the color began to change. It worked fine and the colors were kind of neat. The unit itself is very cheap looking. Anyway, after all the water was used and it shut itself off, as claimed, I unplugged the unit, refilled it with water and moved it to a bedside table to use and when I plugged it back in, the mister portion was no longer working. I have not contacted the seller as yet for replacement/refund, but I will. I just wanted to share my experience quickly. Not worth the money.

1 out of 5 stars Took a chance and it didn't work right out of the box.   January 20, 2010

After seeing the rather "iffy" reviews, I still took a chance and ordered it. My first reaction was one of disappointment in the utter cheapness of the thin plastic made to look like metal trim in the photo. And then when I plugged it in and got a brief flash of color and then nothing, I was really annoyed. It won't even work on the "Mist Only" setting. It's dead. It's obviously a faulty switch. It's cute looking in the photo but don't take a chance - it's pretty junky and you may get one that doesn't work at all, like mine. Now, I'm hoping they'll not try to charge me to return it.

4 out of 5 stars Spa Mist   November 26, 2009

Bought this because a friend had it and I liked the concept. Works great but I was hoping for a stronger hydration. Unfortunately, it's such a small unit that it's not designed for the output I was hoping for but is a great addition to my desktop. Only used for the mist and not for essential oils (due to allergies).

Recommend using the setting for color because when the water level is low, the colors start going spastic. If the color setting isn't used, you may not be aware that it needs a refill.
