The Avalon XD is made of a premium maple hardwood with Russian birch decking that's milled and assembled following Earthlite's tight, eco-friendly manufacturing tolerances, which incorporates such features as water-based lacquers and glues, 100-percent polyurethane vinyl, and CFC-free foam. The patented mid-brace, cradle-lock cabling system, meanwhile, makes the Avalon XD incredibly stable. Best of all, the table's luxurious yet functional NaturSoft vinyl cover is smooth to the touch, with a thick, premium-quality 2.75-inch multilayer cushion adding comfort and support during rubdowns.

Other features include half reiki and half standard end panels that balance stability and client access; Stablefoot traction pads for greater strength; shiatsu release cables; a Flex-Rest adjustable headrest with a form-fit memory cushion; a padded and reinforced armrest sling; and a premium, single-pocket carrying case.     As a new Reiki practitioner, I spent a lot of time looking for a table that would serve my purposes while being cost efficient at the same time. I totally found that in my new Earthlite Avalon table! My clients rave about how nice and comfortable the table is - and I have also had the pleasure to be a client on my own table and can also verify it's comfort. For the size of the table, it is relatively portable - as tables go anyway. I feel that I paid an incredibly fair price for such a finely crafted piece of equipment and recommend it HIGHLY!!

    I'm a student studying to be an HHP and I've looked around at a few tables. I decided to go with this one, even though its a little more on the expensive side compared to some other tables, the extra investment is worth it if you're looking for a good quality table. It's a little heavy for a smaller person as far as portability, but it fits comfortably in the bag. The extra thick padding is great. The new headrest design is great and it takes a lot of pressure off off specific points on the face and spreads it out better. I ordered mystic blue and it came on time with two day shipping (ordered Monday, 1 day processing, arrived Thursday). Excellent condition and I also ordered it with a matching bolster:

    I ordered this table from amazon on Dec 3, 2008, and the covering had pin holes in the fabric. So, I sent it back they paid the shipping and sent a replacement table, it also had holes in it. They received it on Dec 29, 6 days later the return still hasn't processed. Now I find out that can take 3 weeks to get my money back on 2 defective products. I think if I sent someone 2 defective products I could speed the process. That's what you get when dealing with a big company. I love the table though I ordered it from Earthlite directly and they made sure nothing was wrong with it before it was sent out. Its soft and sturdy and well made!

    I ordered the Earthlite Avalon on Amazon.com and it came with an adjustable headrest, face cradle, arm rest and carrying case. The table is extremely sturdy and comfortable and fits perfectly in the carrying case. The arm rest is confusing to set up and isn't secure. Because I am petite, I find this portable table very cumbersome and heavy to tote around and difficult to put into the trunk of my Civic by myself. It DOES FIT inside the trunk, though! It's still a great table!

    This new table is superior to some of the older models I've seen or used, and the new self-expanding headrest is really awesome! It's brand new, but appears as if it will last for a very long time.
    Extremely easy setup,and strong, yet lightweight. Nice thick padding. I got up on it and bounced a few times.
    Sturdy carrying case made of good thick material, and embroidered with the Earthlite logo.
    Oh yes...and it was less $ here than anywhere else I looked...even a few dollars less than the International Reiki Center store.
